Swiss Health Authorities to Invesigate Yaz linked Death

Swiss health authorities said it was investigating a possible link between Bayer's Yaz contraceptive pill and the death of a woman who taking Yaz for the 10 months leading up to her death.
Nine deaths in Switzerland since 1990 have been linked to oral contraceptives. Yaz came under scrutiny in Switzerland after a 16 year old girl was disabled by a lung embolism in May of 2009 after taking Yaz.
Bayer declined to comment beyond expressing sympathy for the families.
