EQ Industrial Services, Inc. (United States District Court, Eastern District of North Carolina, member of Plaintiff’s Management Committee, admitted pro hac vice) and Ealy v. Indspec Chemical Corporation and Occidental Petroleum Corp (United States District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania, as co-Lead Counsel for Plaintiffs). The Bio-Lab, EQ Industrial and Brasher class actions ultimately all settled in 2008.
Finally, Mr. Orlando is involved in the following mass/class actions related to the following food borne illness cases: ConAgra - Peter Pan Peanut Butter Recall salmonella (2007), Topps Beef e. coli, Castleberry’s Chili Sauce (botulism), Totino’s Pizza e. coli, and, most recently, Peanut Corporation of America salmonella (2009) adulteration claims.
Mr. Orlando received his juris doctor degree from Emory University School of Law in 1987. While at Emory, he was elected to the National Order of Barristers and was Coordinating Director and Member of the Board of the Moot Court Society. Mr. Orlando is admitted to practice in the following jurisdictions: New Jersey; United States District Court, District of New Jersey; District of Columbia; Georgia; United States District Court, Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia; United State Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit; and United States District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas. He is a Champion Member and proud supporter of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the New Jersey Association of Trial Lawyers .
